6 NEW STARTUPS JOIN THE VILLAGE BY CA ATLANTIQUE VENDEE

Six new startups are joining Le Village by CA Atlantique Vendée at the beginning of 2021. Their themes and innovations caught the attention of the partners during the selection committee meeting held last Thursday. The new teams will gradually arrive at the Village to be housed from January 2021 if they so wish, and will receive tailored support from February onwards with a dedicated startup manager. A varied program of events is expected to help project leaders structure and develop locally, but also nationally or internationally.

An exciting call for applications #8

During the 2nd confinement, the Village by CA Atlantique Vendée launched its 8th call for applications. Some twenty applications were received, after which a pre-selection was made based on specific criteria such as maturity, innovation, growth potential and project values. In the end, ten project leaders pitched in front of the Village’s experts, who provide support to startups on various topics. This committee challenges and coaches the candidates in preparation for the selection committee.

2020 : a positive outcome

It’s a year that ends on a high note for Le Village by CA Atlantique Vendée. Despite two calls for applications during the two respective confinements, applications from startups poured in. Since its creation in 2017, Le Village has supported 48 startups not counting the new class it just selected.

“This year, Le Village has experienced a real pivot after 3 years of existence, an enriched value proposition, moving into the Campus by CA, integrating a new team and then, a rewrite of our partner offerings. Overall, we see that the startups supported by the Village have shown organization and resilience during this unprecedented year. This is not a hasty conclusion, but the observation of a dynamic ecosystem that is favorable to agile changes.” Ludivine CHAILLOU, Mayor of the Village by CA Atlantique Vendée
